City of Melbourne Seeking Volunteers for Annual Trash Bash By Keep Brevard Beautiful, Set April 5

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Keep Brevard Beautiful’s annual Trash Bash, held in conjunction with The Great American Cleanup, will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The City of Melbourne seeks volunteers (an adult must accompany children) to help clean up our community.
Participants can earn volunteer hours and help with the mission to keep plastic and litter out of our vulnerable waterways.
Breakfast items, snacks, and t-shirts (in a limited amount) will be provided. Drinking water will also be provided, but participants must bring their own reusable water bottles.

Trash Bash volunteers can participate at nine clean-up sites around the city this year; there is sure to be one near you:
■ Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street – 2004 Vernon Place
■ Ascension Catholic School – 2950 N Harbor City Boulevard
■ Carver Community Park – 1092 Swan Street
■ Riverview Park (kayaks, small vessels and paddleboards only) –2400 Riverview Drive
■ Joseph N. Davis Community Center – 2547 Bruce D. Buggs Street (formerly Grant Street)
■ Eddie L. Taylor Sr. Community Center – 3316 Monroe Street
■ Palm Bay High School – 101 Pirate Lane, Gate #4
■ Paradise Beach at Howard E. Futch Memorial Park – 2301 Florida A1A
■ Southwest Park – 400 W Florida Avenue
