Substitute Teacher at Palm Bay Magnet High School Arrested for Sending Inappropriate Photo to Student

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A substitute teacher at Palm Bay Magnet High School was arrested Friday after allegedly sending an inappropriate photo of himself to a female student.

Ajani McPherson, 27, was taken into custody on the school campus and is facing felony charges related to the incident.

McPherson is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail with bond set at $52,500.

Officials say McPherson was not a regular substitute teacher and was just hired in the last month.

Officials say he is no longer employed by Brevard Public Schools.

The case remains under investigation.
