BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Hawks baseball team are headed for the FHSAA Regional Final after they were victorious on Saturday in a 5-2 win over Martin County.

The Hawks square off against No. 1 seed Bloomingdale in a best-of-three series that will be hosted by Bloomingdale for Game 1 and Game 2. If needed, Game 3 would be hosted by Viera.

Viera utilized some great pitching and late game heroics to pull off the victory after they were down 2-1 heading into the sixth inning. But some timely hitting and two-run home run by sophomore Zak Al-Arashi in the seventh inning gave the Hawks victory.

Most importantly, the victory saved their season as they move on to Regional Final.
