BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA—Palm Bay Mayor Rob Medina delivered his annual State of the City Address, highlighting the city’s growth, resilience, and progress in the past year.

Significant achievements included $1.4 billion in permitted development, over 418 miles of road repaving through the $150 million GO Roads initiative, and key infrastructure upgrades to water and wastewater systems.

Public safety advanced with new fire stations and the return of the Police Department’s General Crimes Unit.

The City also expanded recreation services, launched a multilingual chatbot, and began constructing a new City Hall building to centralize services and support emergency operations.

With the arrival of City Manager Matthew Morton, Palm Bay is poised for a bold, forward-thinking future.
