National Hurricane Center Monitors Low Pressure System That Could Impact Central Florida Next Week
By Space Coast Daily // June 29, 2025

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center is tracking a potential disturbance brewing in the Gulf of America that could impact Central Florida next week.
A low-pressure system could develop later this week from a remnant frontal boundary located near or along the southeastern U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coasts.
There is potential for gradual tropical or subtropical development as the system drifts slowly offshore.
National Hurricane Center currently gives the system a 20-percent chance at developing further in the next seven days.
Residents along the southeastern U.S. coast should monitor forecasts, especially going into next weekend, though development at this time remains unlikely.
