Palm Bay Fire Rescue Responds to Residential Fire, Rescues Dog from Burning Home

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA –Palm Bay Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire on June 12 around 3 p.m. in the northeast section of the city.

Multiple crews from across Palm Bay arrived at the scene after reports of visible smoke and flames coming from the home.

Upon arrival, firefighters were informed by the homeowner that all occupants had exited the residence safely, except for one missing dog.

Crews immediately launched a coordinated effort to contain the blaze and locate the pet.

Thanks to the swift and collaborative response of the firefighters, the dog was found and safely reunited with its owners. No additional injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
