BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket early Tuesday, June 3, carrying 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit, including 13 equipped with Direct to Cell technology designed to expand mobile connectivity coverage globally.

Liftoff occurred at 12:43 a.m. ET from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission marked the 21st flight for the Falcon 9’s first stage booster, which had previously supported high-profile missions such as Crew-5, GPS III SV06, CRS-28, and multiple Starlink deployments.

After stage separation, the booster successfully landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, continuing SpaceX’s streak of reusable rocket landings.

The mission advances SpaceX’s efforts to build a robust satellite constellation capable of providing internet service in remote areas and enabling direct satellite-to-cellphone communication.
