Register Now for Fall 2025 Mini-Mester Classes at Eastern Florida State College!
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Eastern Florida State College is now accepting applications for its Veterinary Assisting College Credit Certificate program. The application deadline is Monday, September 15, and classes begin January 12, 2026.
This one-year, task-oriented program prepares students with the hands-on skills needed to support veterinary technicians and veterinarians in clinical settings.
Graduates are trained in essential animal care tasks such as feeding, bathing, exercising, and restraining animals during exams and treatments. Students may also learn to perform basic lab procedures, including drawing blood and collecting urine samples.
Upon completion, the 14 credits earned in the Veterinary Assisting CCC program can be applied toward EFSC’s Veterinary Technology Associate in Science degree.
