Palm Bay Chamber President Nancy Peltonen Among Central Florida’s Most Influential Leaders

Leaders list were considered based on their accomplishments during the past 12 months

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Nancy Peltonen was recently selected among the Top 34 Most Influential Leaders in Central Florida for 2025 by the Orlando Business Journal.

Candidates for OBJ’s Most Influential Leaders list were considered based on their accomplishments during the past 12 months.

“I humbly thank the Orlando Business Journal for this tremendous honor and look forward to attending the ceremony in October,” said Peltonen.

“My achievements could not have happened without the support of the fabulous chamber team, our distinguished Board of Directors, our wonderful members, and the leaders across Central Florida I am proud to call my peers.”

Criteria for selection include factors such as the growth and financial success of their business or organization, their management of a special project or challenge, their results of launching a new product/service, or their influence in making Central Florida a better business community for all.

Peltonen became President & CEO of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce in September 2015. She has expanded membership and trustees, increased member programs and benefits, implemented engaging events, improved the financial base, and advocated the region’s business community at the local, state, and federal levels.

Her efforts have been recognized, as the Greater Palm Bay Chamber was named the Fastest Growing Chamber of Commerce in Central Florida by the Orlando Business Journal for 2025, achieving a 66.18% revenue growth.
