Adopt a Duck. Change a Life.

Crosswinds Youth Services is brewing up a frightfully fun time with its annual Halloween-themed Duck Race on Saturday, October 11 at 3:30 p.m., streaming live on Space Coast Daily.

The 27th Annual Great Brevard Duck Race is more than just a fun community event — it’s a chance to change lives and give hope to children and teens in crisis.

It will be “quack-scary” fun as thousands of adopted rubber ducks in their Halloween best race for exciting prizes, including a Carnival Cruise getaway, DJ services for your next event, a spa experience, and a Paint & Conversation party for six, plus many more treats!

Join the excitement virtually on Saturday, October 11, at 3:30 p.m. by tuning in to SpaceCoastDaily.com. Thousands of rubber ducks will race to the finish line, competing for amazing prizes — and each duck represents a donation that helps vulnerable youth served by Crosswinds Youth Services.

Your $10 duck adoption isn’t just a ticket to some quacky fun — it’s an investment in a child’s future. Every duck you adopt helps provide emergency shelter, hot meals, crisis counseling, and other critical support for youth in Brevard County who are facing homelessness, abuse, neglect, or other life-threatening challenges.

Winners will be selected at random and announced after the race — and yes, you can win even if you’re not watching live.

Why Your Support Matters?

For over 50 years, Crosswinds Youth Services has been a trusted lifeline for Brevard’s most vulnerable youth. The Duck Race is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year — and every duck you adopt helps keep the doors open and hope alive.

One duck can make a difference. Ten ducks can change a life. How many will you adopt?

This beloved community event is proudly supported by Space Coast Daily, WFTV 9 Family Connection, Lite Rock 99.3, and many other generous sponsors. For more information, contact Karen Locke at Crosswinds Youth Services at 321-501-7526. Learn more about the mission at Crosswindsyouthservices.org.
