BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 2025 Municipal & Special District Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4.
The deadline to register to vote in this election is Monday, October 6. To register to vote or update your voter registration records, you can visit any of the four administrative offices or visit VoteBrevard.gov.
“Although voter turnout is historically lower in Municipal and Special District elections, it’s important to remember these are the elections that tend to touch our lives on a daily basis, and it is important to turn out and vote,” said Tim Bobanic, Brevard County Supervisor of Elections.
“The municipalities and special district that will appear on the ballot for the November 4th election are the Towns of Indialantic and Melbourne Beach, and the Barefoot Bay Recreation District.”
As of January 1, 2025, all previous mail ballot requests have expired.
Voters who wish to vote by mail and haven’t yet put in a new request in 2025 need to request to receive mail ballots for upcoming elections through 2026. Voters choosing to vote by mail have until 5 p.m. on October 23 to request that a mail ballot be sent to them before the November 4 election.
Requests can be made at VoteBrevard.gov, by calling 321-290-VOTE (8683), or in person at any of the four administrative offices.

Military and overseas mail ballots were sent out on September 19, and domestic mail ballots are being sent on October 2.
For voters wishing to return their voted mail ballots in person instead of via the USPS, secure ballot intake stations are available in the lobby of all four administrative offices weekdays during hours of operation.
Mail ballots must be received in the Supervisor of Elections offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Election Day voters should remember to vote at their precinct-specific polling location. Assigned precincts can be found on VoteBrevard.gov with the “Find Your Precinct” tab, on a voter information card, or on the sample ballot mailed to each registered voter eligible to vote in this election.
Polls on Election Day are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Logic & Accuracy Test of the election equipment is scheduled for Oct. 13 at the Election Support Center, located at 525 N. John Rodes Blvd. in Melbourne, beginning at 9 a.m.
