Melbourne Man Arrested and Charged With Felony Battery After Series of Lewd Incidents at Dollar Tree

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A 25-year-old Melbourne man has been arrested after police say he repeatedly committed lewd acts inside a neighborhood Dollar Tree store, leaving several women shaken and prompting a weeks-long investigation.

According to the Melbourne Police Department, the first incident occurred on July 20, 2025, when Blake Walker Jones allegedly touched one woman and engaged in lewd behavior directed toward two other women while walking through the aisles of the Dollar Tree located at 4900 North Wickham Road.

Less than a month later, on August 18, police say Jones returned to the same store and carried out additional lewd acts.

Detectives worked to identify him, and with the help of witness statements and investigative follow-up, established probable cause for his arrest.

Jones was located and arrested on September 30, 2025. He now faces charges of felony battery, due to his prior convictions, and exposure of sexual organs.

Following his arrest, Jones was booked into the Brevard County Jail.

Authorities said his prior criminal record elevated the charges. Police did not release details of his earlier convictions but noted that they were sufficient to classify the latest battery charge as a felony.

The Melbourne Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed additional incidents involving Jones, either at the Dollar Tree or elsewhere, to contact detectives at (321) 608-6731.
