Second Annual Slow Down Move Over Brevard Event Promotes Roadside Safety

The event will take place at Lowe’s on South Street in Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville will host the Second Annual Slow Down Move Over Brevard event, a community gathering focused on promoting awareness and safety for roadside workers and first responders.

Organized by iGo Now Roadside, the event is dedicated to honoring the police officers, firefighters, tow truck operators, and other roadside heroes who put their lives at risk to keep the public safe.

The event will take place at Lowe’s on South Street in Titusville and will feature a variety of family-friendly activities. Guests can enjoy a car and tow truck show with awards, food trucks, vendors, live music, raffles, and giveaways. Local police and fire departments will be on-site to interact with the community and support the safety message.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth hosted in partnership with FDOT Central Florida, where safety information will be shared, free goodies will be distributed, and free helmet fittings will be provided for those in need.

The Slow Down Move Over initiative reminds drivers of the importance of reducing speed and changing lanes when approaching roadside workers. The event serves as both a celebration of community support and an important reminder that slowing down and moving over is not only courteous but also required by law.
