BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance with watching the provided video and assisting in the identification of an individual observed near Titusville High School earlier this week.

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., an unidentified person entered the Titusville High School parking lot on foot and was observed taking photographs of the ground and portions of the school campus from outside the perimeter fence.

Currently, investigators have no indication that the individual poses an immediate threat to students, staff, or the community. Detectives are seeking to identify and speak with this person to better understand this person’s intentions.

The individual is described as a lighter-skinned person, possibly male, wearing a dark, knee-length overcoat. The person also appeared to walk with a hunched posture.

“We are working closely with Brevard Public Schools and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office to identify this individual and ensure the continued safety of our students and staff,” said Detective Sergeant Bryan Nelson of the Titusville Police Department.

“At this stage, there is no evidence to suggest this person poses a danger, but we want to speak with them out of an abundance of caution and transparency.”

TPD also requests surrounding businesses and residents near Titusville High School to check their security cameras and contact us if this individual is seen on your surveillance systems.
