Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews Battled Large House Fire on Sand Dollar Road

Indialantic Home Destroyed in Afternoon Fire, No Injuries Reported

INDIALANTIC, Fla. — Brevard County Fire Rescue crews battled a large house fire on Sand Dollar Road around 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

Engine 64 reported the structure “fully involved” upon arrival, with support from Trucks 63, 62, Rescue 63, Rescue 62, and mutual aid units from the Melbourne Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Early reports indicate the home is likely a total loss, though firefighters successfully contained the fire to prevent further damage.

Authorities are asking anyone with information or footage to come forward to aid the investigation.
