BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay officials are advising motorists to expect significant road closures and traffic detours on Saturday, Dec. 6, for the city’s annual Holiday Light Parade.
The popular community event, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., will require early roadway shutdowns to ensure safety for participants and spectators.

Additional closures will include Minton Road between Malabar Road and Jupiter Boulevard, as well as San Filippo Drive between Malabar Road and Jupiter Boulevard.
The parade is expected to conclude around 10 p.m., after which roadways will reopen as soon as barriers are removed and pedestrian traffic has cleared.
Drivers exiting Interstate 95, both northbound and southbound, will be directed east onto Malabar Road throughout the event. Motorists are encouraged to use Palm Bay Road or Babcock Street as alternate routes and plan for delays.
