BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Wizard of Oz Museum is relocating to a new, significantly larger location in Cocoa Beach.
The museum is set to open its new location in May 2026.
The move marks a significant expansion for the museum, enabling enhanced exhibits, increased visitor space, and exciting new experiences.
As part of the move, the museum is introducing an entirely new experience dedicated to the classic television sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie.”
Famously set in Cocoa Beach, the show holds a special place in pop culture history and local nostalgia. The new exhibit will explore the series’ cultural impact through themed installations and interactive elements, giving fans the chance to step into Jeannie’s world.

Although both The Wizard of Oz and I Dream of Jeanie are classics, the museum still offers lots for children and is even ranked the number 1 children’s museum in the United States on TripAdvisor. With this move, the museum will offer even more for children.
“We hope the move will be a nostalgic win for longtime residents and an exciting new attraction for visitors who come to the area expecting a connection to I Dream of Jeannie,” said Museum Owner Fred Trust.
“This expansion allows us to celebrate not only The Wizard of Oz, but also a piece of television history that is deeply connected to Cocoa Beach.”
