BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Holy Trinity Tigers captured the Class 2A State Championship on Wednesday with a commanding 3-0 victory over the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, capping off a remarkable 17-1-1 season.
After a postseason filled with drama, the title game proved to be a much smoother ride.
Holy Trinity entered the championship matchup riding a wave of momentum after surviving back-to-back shootouts in earlier playoff rounds. Those pressure-packed wins helped solidify the team’s reputation as one of resilience and belief — a group that seemed destined to make a deep run.
But in the state final, the Tigers left little to chance.

Facing the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Holy Trinity controlled the tempo and delivered when it mattered most, scoring three times while keeping a clean sheet on defense. The decisive 3-0 result was a stark contrast to the nail-biting shootouts that defined their path to the title game.
