Three People Arrested for Child Abuse at Gingerbread Manor Child Care Facility in Rockledge

Three employees of the Gingerbread Manor Child Care facility were arrested on February 6, 2026, following an initial investigation conducted in partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Three employees of the Gingerbread Manor Child Care facility were arrested on February 6, 2026, following an initial investigation conducted in partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Authorities say the investigation remains open and active as they continue to examine allegations involving the care and treatment of children at the facility.

According to investigators, Stacy Elaine Hamilton Jackson and Nativia Latrice King were each charged with three counts of aggravated child abuse and one count of tampering with a witness.

A third employee, Kia Kristen Walker, was charged with one count of aggravated child abuse and one count of tampering with a witness.

Details surrounding the alleged incidents have not yet been released due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Law enforcement officials are urging any families who believe their children may have been victims of a crime while attending Gingerbread Manor Child Care to come forward.
