BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – From police explorer in Titusville, to security forces in the United States Air Force, to police officer—Officer Megan Romo’s journey is rooted in one clear purpose: service.

Born and raised in Titusville, Florida, Megan learned early the value of community and commitment.

After graduating from Titusville High School, she answered the call to serve on a larger scale by joining the United States Air Force.

From 2009 to 2024, she served in Security Forces, stationed in North Dakota, protecting others and upholding a mission greater than herself.

When her Air Force career brought her back home, Megan accepted a position as a CPD communications officer. It didn’t take long for her to realize that while supporting officers mattered, her heart was still in being the one who shows up—on the street, in the moment, when people need help the most.

That realization led her to complete the State of Florida’s Equivalency of Training, earning her law enforcement officer certification.

Megan serves because she believes presence matters. She serves because communities need protectors who care. And she serves because making a difference—one call, one person, one moment at a time—isn’t just a job to her. It’s who she is.
