Steven Kettler arrested by BCSO. (BCSO Image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well folks as we always say…”you can run but we promise you’ll only go to jail tired” and if you don’t believe us just as ole Steven Kettler who Methed Around And Found Out.

Kettler’s lesson came this past Thursday when our Agents were attempting to serve a warrant on him for a violation of probation.

Kettler decided it was a good idea to make a run for it, but after a short foot pursuit realized the error of his ways.

As Agents took him into custody they soon figured out that he most likely decided to run because he was holding three small baggies in his pocket that contained a powdery substance that field tested positive for meth.

No surprise here, but Kettler was already out of jail on probation as a habitual traffic offender and now adds some other nice charges to his criminal resume.

Well even though he was a bit tired, Kettler was served the warrant for violation of probation and then booked into “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” for resisting without violence for the little run he went on, as well as the drugs, and a new violation of probation charge, which I guess is kind of like being on “Double Secret Probation” like the “Delta Tau Chi” fraternity in Animal House.

Some people just can’t figure it out, so until they do, we will be there to remind them that if you break the law in Brevard County, you’ll end up behind bars which is exactly where you belong.
