OBITUARY: Christine Ann Ambler, 68, Passed Away in Satellite Beach

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The family of Christine Ann Ambler (Chrissy) is deeply saddened to announce her passing on March 22, 2026. She was surrounded by family at the home of Jayne and Andrew Zogg in Satellite Beach.

Born on March 1, 1958, in Brunswick GA, Chrissy lived a full and remarkable life.

Her down syndrome gave her a zest for life and she was our blessing. She participated in sheltered workshops, cooking classes, horseback riding and Special Olympics bowling. She touched the hearts of everyone she met through her gentle, caring and sometimes sassy ways. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Carol Ambler, and her sister Carroll Perin. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters John Ambler (Lana), Deborah Fuller, Lawrence Ambler, Michael Ambler, Mary Ellen Motyl (Dan), Jayne Zogg (Andrew), Claudia Wontor (Bruce), Anna P. Miller (her care giver and second mom). Chrissy is also remembered by her nieces and nephews, Jason, Catherine, Gregg, Barbara (Brad), Stephanie (Ed), Carol, Tommy, Bobbie, Emmalyn (Andrew) Robby (Chrissy) Laruen (Josh), Trevor (Hillary), Mason, Nicole (Shannon), Cortnie, Ryan, Jacqueline (Adam), Alden (Katherine), John David, Kendall (Riley), Shelly (Andrew) and Timothy. Also mourning her loss are sixteen great nieces & nephews, three great-great niece & nephews, and many cherished friends.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life and home going at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 North Highway A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903, on May 4, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. and a luncheon reception in the church community room following the service.

A Rosary prayer service will be held prior to the service at 10 a.m.

The family would like to thank Dr. Georgia Davis and St. Frances Hospice for their compassion and care.
