BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –Frederick “Fred” Joseph Hinojosa, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 66.
Born on December 2, 1959, in Miami, Florida, Fred settled in Titusville in 2016. He was a skilled craftsman, and he owned and operated his own carpentry company.
Fred met the love of his life, Maria, in Texas in 1999, and the two shared 27 years of marriage filled with devotion and companionship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Donna Hinojosa, and his beloved grandmother, Thelma.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Hinojosa; his mother, Donna Hinojosa; his son, Joseph A. Hinojosa; his brother, Abraham Hinojosa; and his sisters, Dora Hinojosa and Anita Hinojosa.
He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Robert Guerrero, Kristine Frazier (spouse Xanthe Warman), and Tanea Soto (spouse Ruben Soto III); his grandchildren, Julian Serrato, Michael Zuniga, Danielle Zuniga, and River Guerrero; and his great-grandchildren, Abby Serrato, Lily Serrato, and Luke Serrato.
Fred will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his dedication to his family, and the craftsmanship he brought to his trade. His work stands as a quiet testament to a life built with care, precision, and pride.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
