Cory Dibble, Director of Public Safety and Security for Port Canaveral, was recognized for his contributions to the maritime community with the Exceptional Civilian Service Award from the Navy League of the United States during a reception in Melbourne on Thursday evening.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Cory Dibble, Director of Public Safety and Security for Port Canaveral, was recognized for his contributions to the maritime community with the Exceptional Civilian Service Award from the Navy League of the United States during a reception in Melbourne on Thursday evening.

The award, presented by the Cape Canaveral Council of the organization, honors Dibble’s leadership and dedication in supporting the region’s seafaring operations and maritime safety efforts.

The Navy League of the United States is a nonprofit civilian organization that advocates for and supports America’s sea services, including the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and the U.S.-flag Merchant Marine.

In addition to the award, Dibble received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from U.S. Rep. Mike Haridopolos, who delivered the keynote address at the event.
