BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Chamber of Commerce is preparing to help local businesses and residents get storm-ready as hurricane season approaches, with a special community event scheduled for May 7.
The “Good Morning Space Coast” program will be held at the Space Coast Convention Center, located at 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa, where local experts will provide guidance on preparing for the 2026 hurricane season and on ensuring businesses remain resilient in the face of severe weather threats.
Organizers say the event will focus on practical planning strategies, emergency readiness, and business continuity to help the Space Coast community stay prepared no matter what develops in the Atlantic.
In addition to educational presentations, the Chamber is offering local businesses opportunities to gain visibility through “Supporter sponsorships,” which include vendor table space or pop-up displays, recognition during the event presentation, and complimentary admission.
Space Coast Chamber officials also extended appreciation to event sponsor W+J Construction Corp. for its support of the program.
Registration is currently open, and officials encourage early sign-ups due to limited space.
