BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –Thanks to a full school year without hurricane-related closures, Brevard Public Schools will complete all required instruction earlier than originally planned, with the last day of school for students on Friday, May 22.
Brevard Public Schools officials said that Wednesday, May 20, through Friday, May 22, will be early-release days to accommodate end-of-year exams.
• The Challenger 7 modified schedule will also conclude on Friday, May 22.
• While teachers will be working on May 26–27 for required planning days, students will not attend school on those dates.
• Kindergarten and 6th-grade promotion ceremony dates are school-based decisions.
Families are encouraged to check directly with their school to confirm ceremony dates and ensure they have not changed.
BPS officials said childcare services are being planned to begin earlier to help accommodate the additional days students will be off from school. More details will be shared as plans are finalized.
