BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – For nearly four decades, a powerful tradition has taken root in Brevard County, bringing together those who served and the community that supports them.

The 38th Annual All Veterans Reunion will be held at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne, from May 7 to May 10.

However, a special wreath-laying will take place three days earlier, on Monday, May 4, at 6 p.m., followed by the Opening Ceremonies.

Recognized as one of the largest and longest-running veterans’ reunions in the United States, the event is hosted by Veterans Memorial Reunion Inc.

While the reunion serves as a touchstone for former service members, the organizers emphasize that the public is both welcome and invited to attend this family-friendly, four-day event.

At the heart of the reunion is the Memorial Wall. As in years past, the event is honored to host The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and “Some Gave All – The Moving Tribute.”

These moving monuments are donated by the Vietnam and All Veterans of Brevard (VVB) for the duration of the reunion, providing a space for reflection and a solemn tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The honoring begins even before the official start date. On Sunday, May 3, a massive Wall Escort will depart from the Eastern Florida State College, Cocoa Campus, at 10 a.m., providing a ceremonial motorcade to bring the monuments to their temporary home at Wickham Park.

While the “All Veterans Reunion” is a time for somber reflection, it is also a vibrant community festival celebrating the spirit of service. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of activities, including:

• Live Music and Entertainment: Performances will run throughout the weekend, creating a lively atmosphere for all ages.

• A Taste of Florida: Food trucks and a dedicated beverage tent will offer a variety of refreshments.

• The Marketplace: A vendor marketplace and static displays will be set up throughout the park.

Professional Opportunities: On Thursday only, a Job Fair will be held to connect veterans and community members with local employers.

Recognizing Our Heroes: In addition to veterans, the event specifically honors and welcomes first responders, acknowledging their vital role in community safety.

Admission to the reunion is free, making it an accessible outing for the whole family. However, visitors are reminded that coolers, glass containers, and pets are not permitted in the reunion area.
