Brevard Public Schools Officials Honor 2026 Partners in Education Program Award Recipients

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools recently celebrated the community partners who dedicate their time, resources, and support to students through the district’s Partners in Education program.

“Recently, we honored the incredible partners who give their time, talent, and heart to our students through the Partners in Education program,” said Brevard Public Schools Board Chair Matt Susin.

“These partnerships go far beyond the classroom as they open doors, create opportunities, and remind our students that they are supported by an entire community that believes in them.”

BPS officials recognized several outstanding individuals and organizations during the 2026 Partners in Education awards ceremony:

Terry Haus of John F. Kennedy Middle School – Partners in Education Coordinator of the Year
Bianca Bonessi of Saturn Elementary School – Community Champion of the Year
Elizabeth Andrews of Cocoa High School – Outstanding Rookie of the Year
Starling Ford Automotive – Partner of the Year
Georgianna Church – Faith-Based Partner of the Year
Lowe Electric LLC – Business Partner of the Year
The Children’s Hunger Project – Non-Profit Partner of the Year

Honorees included Terry Haus of John F. Kennedy Middle School, who was named Partners in Education Coordinator of the Year; Bianca Bonessi of Saturn Elementary School, who received the Community Champion of the Year award; and Elizabeth Andrews of Cocoa High School, who earned Outstanding Rookie of the Year honors.

Additional award recipients included Starling Ford Automotive as Partner of the Year, Georgianna Church as Faith-Based Partner of the Year, Lowe Electric LLC as Business Partner of the Year, and The Children’s Hunger Project as Non-Profit Partner of the Year.

“PIE is more than a program, it’s a promise,” said Susin.

“A promise that our schools and our community are working together to help every student succeed. Whether it’s mentoring, donating, volunteering, or simply showing up, every act of support makes a lasting impact. Each partnership plays an important role in reminding students they are supported by an entire community invested in their future.”
