The training brought together representatives from 40 sheriff’s offices and nearly 100 attendees, all working side by side to enhance their ability to respond effectively when disasters strike.
The program emphasized real-world application, ensuring agencies are fully prepared for the challenges of hurricane response.
Participants focused on key operational strategies, including establishing forward operating teams, understanding disaster assistance agreements, and refining communication protocols.
