NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, and Brevard counties through 6 pm.
Primary storm hazards are locally damaging wind gusts of 60 mph or more, hail to coin size, and possibly a tornado or two.
Storms will also be capable of locally heavy rainfall, leading to flooding and deadly lightning.
