BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — U.S. Rep. Mike Haridopolos recently visited Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School, where he met with students and learned more about the school’s specialized academic programs.
During the visit, Haridopolos spoke with a history class and toured the school’s Aqua Science Program, which gives students hands-on experience in marine biology and environmental science.
The program helps prepare students for future careers connected to Florida’s Space Coast economy, including opportunities in marine research, conservation and science-related industries.
School officials said the program continues to provide students with real-world learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
