ABOVE VIDEO: Rock Anthony Russek was taken into custody for Fleeing With Disregard To Persons, Reckless Driving, and Driving While License Suspended With Knowledge.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – If you’re gonna be dumb and commit a crime you should at least try to be smart enough not to flee to Brevard County after you do it, because this is where you Mess Around and Find Out.

Well, apparently Rock Anthony Russek didn’t get the memo cause after he was dumb enough to commit a violent carjacking in Palm Beach County, he doubled down on dumb and fled north to Brevard County, where we will chase you until your wheels fall off…literally.

Well, as you can see in the video, once he got into Brevard, things started to go downhill for him as our partners at West Melbourne PD spotted the car on 95, and the chase began!

Deputy Javier Reyna quickly engaged in the chase that was Northbound on I-95 near the 188 Mile Marker and took the lead position in an effort to execute a P.I.T. Maneuver (Precision Immobilization Technique) on the vehicle.

The vehicle at times exceeded 115 MPH and was driving erratically, putting others’ lives in danger.

At times, the vehicle left the roadway, forcing other vehicles to change lanes or quickly brake to avoid being struck.

As Deputy Reyna was closing the gap to execute the P.I.T. maneuver, the vehicle spun out of control due to a blown tire.

On a positive note, as soon as the car spun out, Russek was smart enough to immediately comply with the Deputy’s commands and was taken into custody for Fleeing With Disregard To Persons, Reckless Driving, and Driving While License Suspended With Knowledge.

And of course, in addition to our charges, he will face carjacking charges in Palm Beach County as well.

My immediate concern, though, upon seeing the video, is where his pants are and why anyone would wear a Steelers jersey out in public?

Great job and teamwork by our Deputies and Aviation Unit, our partners at West Melbourne Police, and our fellow Deputy Sheriffs at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office!!

In Brevard County if you run you are only going to jail tired!
