BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Last night, I was honored to be part of one of the most amazing and heartwarming events…” Runway to Hope” that works to help families impacted by childhood cancer, right here in Central Florida.
During the event, I got the pleasure of escorting a young lady named “Azalea” on the runway, who is one of the many children the event supports in the fight against childhood cancer.
Saint and I attended the event for the second time, and of course, he was a huge hit in his tuxedo as he hung out with all the kids before they took to the runway.
During the program, over 100 kids, who have been diagnosed with cancer, get to walk the runway sporting incredible outfits they personally hand-selected from Bloomingdale’s, and as you can see, Azalea had an amazing time as she walked the runway, giving huge smiles in return to the cheers of the huge crowd.
This event truly touches your heart, as throughout the night I met and talked with many of our own Brevard residents who have a child battling cancer, parents who unfortunately lost a courageous child to this disease, and even doctors, nurses, school teachers, and caregivers from our community who give everything they have to help those courageously fighting pediatric cancer.
