Brevard Zoo Launches ‘Summer Sundays: Brick Lab’ Experience July 12 with Hands-On Family Fun

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Families looking for an interactive and educational weekend activity can head to Brevard Zoo on Saturday, July 12, as the popular Summer Sundays series continues with a special Brick Lab experience.

The hands-on event invites guests of all ages to dive into a high-energy environment where imagination and engineering collide.

Visitors will have the opportunity to build, design, and create using thousands of interlocking building bricks in a fun, open-ended learning space.

According to the Brevard Zoo, the Brick Lab experience is designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaborative play, making it an ideal summer activity for families across the Space Coast.

The Summer Sundays series transforms the zoo each weekend into a themed adventure featuring educational activities, live entertainment, animal encounters, and interactive exhibits that highlight conservation and wildlife education.

Guests attending are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the zoo’s full range of exhibits, including giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs, and the restored wetlands habitats that make Brevard Zoo one of Florida’s most unique wildlife destinations.

The event is included with regular zoo admission.

Brick Lab event will take place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Brevard Zoo in Melbourne.
