BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – To commemorate the 15th anniversary of STS-135, the final mission of Space Shuttle Atlantis and the conclusion of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program, the crew of this historic flight will reunite on July 11, 2026, at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, beneath the orbiter itself. 

Moderated by the final Launch Director of the Space Shuttle Program, Mike Leinbach, a fireside chat, which will begin at 2 p.m., will feature the complete STS-135 crew: Chris Ferguson, Sandy Magnus, Rex Walheim, and Doug Hurley.

During the event, the astronauts will share personal stories and behind‑the‑scenes insight into the last Space Shuttle mission and the Space Shuttle legacy. Following the discussion, guests will have the opportunity to meet the astronauts.

As part of Celebrating USA 250, the festivities will continue the evening of July 11 with a patriotic drone show over the Rocket Garden beginning at 8:50 p.m.
