BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The SPCA of Brevard is celebrating a major milestone this week as Lead Receptionist Brittney Lee marks 15 years of dedicated service to the organization and the countless animals and families she has helped along the way.
For many visitors to the SPCA of Brevard Adoption Center, Lee is the first friendly face they see when they walk through the doors.
Over the past 15 years, she has become an integral part of the organization’s daily operations, greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors to the appropriate staff members, and helping families complete one of life’s happiest moments—adopting a new pet.
Before stepping into her current role as Lead Receptionist, Lee worked directly with the shelter’s cats, gaining valuable hands-on experience caring for animals and developing a deep understanding of the shelter’s mission and day-to-day operations.
That experience, combined with her welcoming personality and commitment to helping both people and pets, has made her an invaluable member of the SPCA team.

The organization describes Lee as the heart of the Adoption Center, serving as both the first and last person visitors encounter during their experience.
Whether assisting potential adopters, answering questions from the community, or ensuring the front desk operates efficiently, her kindness, patience, and dedication help create a positive experience for every guest.
As she celebrates her 15-year anniversary, the SPCA of Brevard expressed its gratitude for Lee’s unwavering commitment to animal welfare and the organization’s mission.
