‘Chronicles of Stupid’: Brevard County Man Arrested After Allegedly Firing Shotgun at Woman’s Vehicle

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well folks, “The Chronicles of Stupid” just seem to somehow keep expanding as more and more people find their way to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge,” where they learn exactly what we mean when we say “if you play stupid games in Brevard County, you win stupid prizes!”

You know, people like Jason Holland who quickly learned that you can’t shoot a shotgun at someone and their vehicle and then just walk away like it never happened.

The victim in this case arrived at the suspect’s residence to pick up her friend, who also lived at the property.

Well, for some reason this seemed to annoy Holland, even though the victim stayed in her vehicle and never got out; for some reason Holland thought it was a good idea to grab his shotgun and point it at the victim’s car, and shoot it.

The loud bang startled the victim, as she heard something hit her vehicle, so she looked up and saw Holland standing there with the gun. Her friend then quickly exited the residence to see what happened, and Holland pointed the shotgun at him before retreating back to the residence.

Deputies and Agents responded to the scene and found the shotgun leaning against a workbench and a spent shotgun shell in the trash can.

When they asked Holland what happened, he said he was mad she was on his property and meant to fire it toward the ground to get her attention, but didn’t remember pointing it at her.

Well, luckily for him, whether he remembered it or not, the damage only occurred to her vehicle and not to her person, as this would have ended in an even worse situation.

On a bright note, after our team conducted the investigation, Holland was able to check in for his reservation at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge for a $26,000 stay for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Shooting a Missile into a Dwelling, and Criminal Mischief.

Of course, while at the lodge, Holland can enjoy a close-quarters stay with lots of his new friends, less-than-mediocre entertainment in the common areas of his jail pod, and of course, food that doesn’t make anyone’s Top 100 list unless it’s of course, the list of the last places on earth you would want to eat.
