BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – More than 100 dancers will perform everything from “All I Want for Christmas is a Hippopotamus” to “Carols of the Bells” as part of Heather’s Dance Studios First holiday show Saturday, Dec. 13.
The students, ages two to adult, have been practicing for weeks to put on “Holiday on Broadway” from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Azan Shriners facility located at 1591 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne.
In addition to watching more than 15 performances, guests will have a chance to take pictures with holiday characters, partake of some cookies and hot chocolate and create some crafts. And the studio is collecting new unwrapped donations for Toys for Tots. The show is an official drop off location.
Studio alum and dance instructor Whitney Stites along with studio owner Heather Hall-Lobley came up with the idea for a holiday program as a fun way to give back to the community. The entire studio staff and its students came together to make it happen.

“I’m so proud of them and our staff. We can’t wait to share the holiday season with our community.”
Performances to suit every fancy will be presented from classical ballet to hip-hop and even a few toddler favorites. Instructors will also perform, giving their students a chance to see them on stage.
All activities are included in the admission price of $23 for adults and $15 for children through Dec. 12. At the door cost is $25 for adults and $18 for children. Children under 2 are free.
Tickets are still available at Heathersdancestudio.com and will be available the day of the performance at the door.
