Titusville PD Bust Suspected Child Molester After Alerted By Broward County Sheriff’s Office, FDLE

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives were alerted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, in reference to a suspected molestation of a missing child from their jurisdiction.
Within two hours, the suspect was found at his residence on 154 C Court Street, with a 14-year-old victim.
The suspect, 23-year-old Terell Voshun Akeem Brandon, was taken into custody by Titusville Police Detectives and the victim was placed into protective custody.
“The preliminary investigation revealed that there had been an inappropriate communication between the suspect and the victim via the internet,” said Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.
“The suspect drove to Deerfield Beach, picked up the victim and brought the victim back to Titusville where the crimes occurred.”
Brandon was charged with two felonies; Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a Child over 12 years old; and Possession of Child Pornography.
Brandon was booked into the Brevard County Jail and held on a $55,000 bond.
