Viera Middle School will hold their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday to unveil the newest school in Brevard County featuring a state-of-the-art facility.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Viera Middle School will hold their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday to unveil the newest school in Brevard County featuring a state-of-the-art facility located next to Viera High School at 6093 Stadium Parkway.

The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.

Viera Middle School is a state-of-the-art facility, featuring a cafeteria, covered outdoor seating, Promethean Boards in every classroom, three music rooms (Chorus, Orchestra, and Band), a Robotic and Aerospace Lab, an Exploring Technology for Tech Design lab, and much more.

Upon opening, both 7th and 8th grade students will attend for the 2024-2025 school year, with student population capping out at 900 students in any given year.

The 138,000 square-foot facility features a track, grass field areas, four hard courts for tennis and a gym.

Viera Middle School will have 41 teaching classes across three main buildings.

The school anticipates of having over 40 teachers and 30 staffers on campus during a school day across the three main buildings.

The school will officially open on August 12.
