Brevard Fire Rescue Crews Have Busy Saturday, Douse Fires in Port St John and West Melbourne

Brevard County Fire Rescue crews worked two fires on Saturday. The first call was an attic fire in Port St John, which started from an ATV outside, pictured above. Units from Stations 26, 29, 24 & 41 responded, along with Districts 20 & 40. The second was a second-floor apartment in West Melbourne, which had a heavy fire upon arrival. There was minor damage to an adjoining unit. Stations 82, 83 & 81, District 80, and the Melbourne Fire Department responded. Either fire caused no injuries. (BCFR image)
