OBITUARY: Leigh Lavery (Davies) Andrews, 38, Passed Away Unexpectedly Dec. 29, 2024, in Puerto Rico

Her humor and spirit brought light to her family’s lives and will forever be cherished

Leigh Lavery (Davies) Andrews, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 29, 2024, on a family vacation in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, Leigh graduated from Conard High School in 2004. She spent the last decade making her home in Melbourne, Florida, where she built a life full of love and laughter.

A talented cosmetologist, Leigh worked in Connecticut, North Carolina, and Florida. It was Melbourne that truly became home when she met her husband, Eric Andrews, beginning a beautiful chapter of her life as part of the Andrews family.

In recent years, Leigh found immense joy as a stay-at-home mom to her son, the light of her life, Cash Andrews. Her humor and spirit brought light to her family’s lives and will forever be cherished.

Leigh is survived by her devoted husband Frank “Eric” Andrews; her beloved son, Cash, and her stepchildren Kyla, Ethan, and Jenna; her loving parents, Dwight and Lynn Davies; her sister, Kelsey Shepard (Derek), and nieces Emma and Kellen Shepard. She was also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, and dear friends.

To know Leigh was to love her. Though her time here was far too brief, the memories she created will live on as a source of comfort to all who loved her. Services will be private.
