WATCH: Four People Rescued by Coast Guard After Boat Fire Off Port Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Four people were rescued Saturday after their boat caught fire in waters off Port Canaveral, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Coast Guard crews responded quickly to the emergency call and successfully brought all four individuals to safety.

Officials said no injuries were reported.

A good Samaritan also played a key role in assisting with the rescue efforts.

The cause of the boat fire remains under investigation.
