Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School Welcomes Dr. Jannette Connor as New Principal

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School is proud to welcome Dr. Jannette Connor as its new principal for the 2025–2026 school year.
A familiar face within Brevard Public Schools, Dr. Connor brings with her over 14 years of experience in secondary education, including the last five in administrative leadership.
In an introductory message to the school community, Dr. Connor expressed her excitement about joining the Viper Nation and gratitude for the opportunity to lead the school. “It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I join the incredible team of educators at SCHS,” she wrote. “I am genuinely excited to get to know our students, parents, and our community throughout the 2025–2026 school year.”
Born and raised on the Space Coast, Dr. Connor is a proud product of Brevard Public Schools, having attended Sabal Elementary, Suntree Elementary, Johnson Middle, and Eau Gallie High School. Her deep roots in the local community fuel her passion for student success at every level—academically, socially, and emotionally.
She emphasized her commitment to fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential. “Your commitment to [students’] success is invaluable, and I assure you that it will be reciprocated with dedication and passion from myself and the entire faculty,” she stated.
The Viper community has already offered a warm welcome to Dr. Connor, who says she is eager to celebrate achievements and milestones with students and staff in the years to come.
As the new school year approaches, the Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School community looks forward to the leadership and vision Dr. Connor will bring to the campus.
