PUBLIC SERVICE SPOTLIGHT: Palm Bay Police Booking Specialist Migliara Cites Teamwork as Key to Success

Nine year veteran of Palm Bay Police Department

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Booking Specialist Kendall Migliara has been in law enforcement for 13 years, with the past nine years spent serving at the Palm Bay Police Department, and earned a PBPD Personnel Spotlight.

Migliara credits her parents as her greatest inspiration, admiring their work ethic and determination in running their own business. She believes this example shaped her dedication to hard work and perseverance.

One of her proudest moments came when she was honored with the Civilian of the Year award for her commitment to training the department on One Solution.

She enjoys training and loves to teach, especially guiding new officers and trainees on One Solution, as well as handling the daily responsibilities of working with both citizens and individuals in custody.

For Migliara, Palm Bay’s family-oriented environment is one of its best qualities. She values the first-name basis connections across the department, from VCOPS to the Chief, and the way everyone comes together to help when there is a need.

She also believes the training department is one of the most underrated parts of the agency. She praises their dedication to spending every shift, every hour, and every day finding resources, making schedules, securing grants and permissions, and preparing the department to face the ever-changing demands of law enforcement.
