Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for Residents of Mims Water Service Area

A water main break has occurred in the Mims water service area

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the Mims water service area living at Blue Jay Pl., Sugarberry Ln., Nottingham Apartment Complex, London Town Rd., London Town Ln., Sherwood Forest Dr., Kings Cross St., Ben Hogan Way, Arnold Palmer Dr., King Richard Dr., Bedford Dr., Chester Ct., Squires Dr., Lance Ct., Archer Ct., and Adale Ct.
A water main break has occurred in the Mims water service area. When the repair has been completed and water service has been restored, the impacted residents will be under a precautionary boil water notice.
The Brevard County Government Office advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will receive another notification at that time.
