Titusville Police Detectives Seek Answers After Shooting on Garden Street

Incident believed to be isolated; detectives continue gathering evidence

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that left one man hospitalized in critical but stable condition following an incident on Monday night, October 6.
According to Sergeant Bryan Nelson, patrol officers responded at approximately 10:05 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Garden Street, where they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately rendered aid before the victim was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
A second adult male, believed to be involved in the altercation, was located nearby. Detectives responded to the scene to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
Police say the shooting appears to have been an isolated incident between known individuals, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
“At this time, our investigation indicates this was an isolated incident between known individuals and there is no ongoing threat to our community,” said TPD Detective Sergeant Nelson.
“Our detectives have been and will continue to work diligently to gather all available evidence and speak with witnesses to ensure justice is served.”
As of now, no arrests have been made, but charges are expected once all evidence has been processed and analyzed.
