BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – As temperatures are forecast to drop significantly tonight across Central Florida, one of our trusted community partners is stepping up to help protect our most vulnerable residents.

According to the forecast, skies will remain clear overnight with temperatures falling into the lower 40s and potentially the upper 30s in inland areas — a chilly stretch by Florida standards.

Overnight lows in the region are expected to be in the 40s, with a brief cool snap settling in before warmer weather returns later this weekend.

In response to the colder conditions, LifePointe Ministries in Titusville will open a cold weather shelter tonight, Thursday, December 11 to provide a warm place for individuals experiencing homelessness or anyone in need of a safe, heated environment.
