BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The popular Great Brevard Duck Race is set to return to Cocoa Riverfront Park this summer, marking the first in-person event since 2019.
The Crosswinds Community Great Brevard Duck Race Festival will take place Saturday, June 13, at Cocoa Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village, bringing together families, businesses, and community organizations for a day of entertainment and fundraising.
Organizers say the waterfront festival will feature live music, food trucks, children’s activities, and a bounce house, with hundreds of families expected to attend throughout the afternoon.
The highlight of the event will be the signature duck race, where approximately 5,000 rubber ducks will be released into the water at 3:30 p.m. to race toward the finish line.
The festival begins at 1 p.m.

Event organizers are currently seeking vendors, food trucks, and local businesses to participate in the festival area. Vendor spots are limited, and businesses will have the opportunity to promote their products and services while connecting with the community.
Proceeds from the event will support Crosswinds Youth Services, which provides assistance and resources to youth in crisis across Brevard County.
Those interested in reserving vendor space can contact organizers at 321-452-0800 ext. 153.
Organizers say the event aims to bring the community together for a fun, family-friendly day along the waterfront while supporting programs that help local youth in need.
Why Your Support Matters? For over 50 years, Crosswinds Youth Services has been a trusted lifeline for Brevard’s most vulnerable youth. The Duck Race is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year — and every duck you adopt helps keep the doors open and hope alive.
