BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — The roar of jet engines will return to Florida’s Space Coast this spring as the U.S. Navy’s elite flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, headlines the 2026 Air Dot Show Cocoa Beach on April 11–12.

With patriotic tributes, high-speed aerobatics, and the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, organizers expect the Cocoa Beach Air Dot Show to draw thousands of spectators for a weekend celebrating both aviation excellence and American history.

The two-day aviation showcase will be free to the public and held along the Cocoa Beach shoreline, with Lori Wilson Park serving as the show center.

The performance, featuring F/A-18 Super Hornets, will take place over the Atlantic Ocean, with the action generally visible from the beach near Lori Wilson Park.

Organizers say this year’s air show will carry special significance, commemorating the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of NASA’s first space shuttle launch.

In April 1981, Space Shuttle Columbia lifted off on its historic maiden voyage, marking the beginning of a new era in space exploration.

“This is the first time the Blue Angels have ever flown over Cocoa Beach,” said air show organizer Bryan Lilley. “They’re one of the most sought-after acts in aviation, and pairing their performance with these historic milestones makes the weekend even more meaningful.”

Based in Pensacola, the Blue Angels fly F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets, performing precision maneuvers at speeds approaching 700 miles per hour — just under the speed of sound.

Additional performers for the Cocoa Beach air show are expected to be announced soon.

For spectators seeking an upgraded experience, Flight Line Club VIP tickets — which include shaded seating, lunch, and beverages — are available through the Air Dot Show website HERE, along with other premium viewing options.
